The well-loved park and the heart of the city of Montreal is a haven all year round, but for me, the most magical time is in October. The heat of summer might last into September, but during October the weather cools quickly, racing towards the freezing winter, the sun skims lower through the sky, and all the maple tree leaves turn to shades of lime, gold, amber, and red.
